I HEREBY give notice that accordance with Section 11 of “Th-e Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and “The Local Elections and Polls Act. 1925,” and its amendment, a Poll will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 24th day of February, 1937, upon a proposal to raise a special loan of Ninety Thousand Pounds (L 90,000) for the purpose of enabling the Palmerston North City Council to construct a new Waterworks Dam at Tiritea, to lay a 21in. diameter water main from Linton Road to the Headworks, to form a roadway for access purposes, and to effect improvements to the reticulation.
