SERIOUS CHARGE.
REMAND ORDERED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 22. Wearing a navy blue suit and black shirt, and with his hands clasped in front of him, John Toka (not Toko) appeared in the Police Court to-day before Mr W. R. McKean, charged that on February 21 he did murder Toko Whakaia. On the application of the police lie was remanded for a week.
