SOLOMON ISLANDS.
METHODIST MISSION WORK. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 22. The rapid spread of Methodism in the Solomon Islands was recorded at the Methodist Conference. Last year the Solomons added 500 members and opened 32 stations. Methodism was now a power in the Western Pacific. The conference decided to restore the medical unit to the Solomons next year and Dr. Allen Rutter was designated for appointment. The Solomons contributed £3013 during the year, an increase of £1328. The Church’s total contribution for missions last year was £10,462.
