HELP FOR ATHLETICS.
Received February 20, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 19. General Critchloy has offered £15,000 to the Amateur Athletic Association for three big athletic meetings. The offer may be rejected, as it implies commercialisation, hut if it is accepted it is suggested that J. E. Lovelock (New Zealand) will participate. Lovelock informed the Associated Press that lie has no intention of running at present.
