VERDICTS AT NAPIER. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Jan. 28. At the inquest concerning the death of Timothy McCarthy, whose passing prior to Christmas was thei cause of many wild 'rumours, a verdict was returned that death was 'due to natural causes. At the inquest on Norman Edward Christoffrson, who had his neck broken when he was thrown from a lorry when it went down a bank near Napier, the Coroner returned a verdict of death from pneumonin following the .severance of the spinal column. A third inquest concerned the death of a single woman. Miss Bray .Giinn. A verdict of death from septicaemia was returned.
