ATHLETIC CLUB.
OPENING MEETING. Last evening, at Johnston Park, the Feilding Amateur Athletic Club held, its first meting of the season. There was a good attendance, and running, cycling and walking events constituted the programme. The track was in fair condition, having heen repaired and improved recently. Representatives were present from Pahiatua and Pahnerston North. A strong j breeze considerably handicapped perI formers.
