Week-end bowling results are as follow: J. Ellery, H. Fagan, J. H. Pcrrctt, A. K. Drew (skip) 21 v. 11. Ellery, L. Capstick, A. Simpson, S. W. Ingram (skip), 19; G. Archer, S. W. Ingram, J. Martin (skip) 23 v. L. Capstick, 11. \V. Stevens, J. E. Walker (skip) 18. Fine weather favoured members of the Rangitikei Defence Rifle Club on Saturday, though a changeable wind at times affected the shooting. Tall scores were registered, 11. Meads putting on 104 out of a possible of 105. He gained the maximum at 300 and 500yds. and dropped his second last shot at 600. W. J. Jenkins, who obtained 103, put on 19 consecutive bullseyes. The ranges fired over wore 300, 500 and 600y«*s, and scores and tottds are as follow: —-11. Meads, 35—35 W. J. Jenkins, 34—35—34—103; R. B. McKcnzie, 33—34-34—101; N. 11. Anym, 33—35 —33 —101; Ken Lunisden, R. White, 30—32—31—93; K. W. Dalrymple, 28—30—31—89; D. P. Thorby, 28—30—30-88; A. W. Anion, 27 27—32 —86. Anion defeated Dalrymple in the shoot-off for Mr 11. Meads's trophy. Next Saturday a handicap slioot will be held for 100 rounds of ammunition, donated by Mr K. \V. Dalrymple.
