Friday’s closing prices for tho raw materials were as follow, those for November 27 being shown in parentheses: Cotton.—Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 6.81 d a lb (6.72 d) ; January delivery, 6.58 d a lb (6.51 d). Rubber.—Para, 12d (same) ; plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 9 l-16d a lb (8?d). Jute.—Deeember-January shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotations, £lB 17s 6d a ton (£lB 16s 3d). Copra—December-January shipment, South Sea to London or Rotterdam, £l9 7s 6d a toil (£lB 15s); smoked, to Marseilles or Genoa, £l9 7s 6d a ton (£lB 15s) ; plantation, Kahaul to London or Rotterdam, £2O 7s 6d a ton (£l9 15s). Linseed oil.—£2B 5s a ton (£27 15s). Turpentine, 41s 9d a cwt (same).
