SERIES OF DUELS.
Received December 5, 1.20 p.m. BUDAPEST. Dec. 4. Smashing down the door of a fencing school, the police stopped the third of nine duels which M. Sarga is fighting in defence of his wife’s honour. Sarga’s opponent, Elemer Lossoczy, an exofficer, was stripped to the waist. Sarga had charged Lossoczy with inflicting a 4in wound in his head. Obviously the police intervened in the nick of time. Sarga says he intends to continue the duel as soon as he is able. Thereafter he will be fighting the remaining six somewhere in the provinces.
