VALEDICTORY.

MRS ALFRED WATT. Mrs Alfred Watt, chairwoman of the Associated Country ‘Women of the World, was met at the Kelburn Kiosk, Wellington, on Saturday, by more than 70 representatives of the Women's Division of the Farmers’ Union. This was tho first time Mrs Watt had had the opportunity of meeting members of the W.D.F.U., and it was also in the nature of a farewell, as she will leave to-morrow for Sydney. Members came from Palmerston North, Feilding, Masterton, CJrcytown, Featherston, Plimmerton and Upper Ilutt. The Dominion officials present included Mrs C. K. "Wilson, Rio Pio, who presided; Mrs W. J. Poison, Fordell, a founda.tion member; Mrs Duncan Simpson, Merton; and Mrs T. R. Barrer, Masterton.
