THE FASHIONABLE FEATHER
Fashion decress that every woman must wear a feather in her autumn hat (says a Home paper). It may he a green feather, it may be red, it may bo orange, but a feather it must be. It may be used to give additional height" to the already lofty crowns of the new season’s hats. It seemed rather to defeat any artistic aim it might have in view of the case of one lady. Her feather had assumed a horizontal position in front of her face, considerably obscuring her vision.
