EXTRACTS FROM "STANDARD.*' DECEMBER 7, 1906. The new traffic bridge over the Pohanpina River had been declared open by iho Premier. The Auckland Savings Bank had made a gift of £IO,OOO to the Auckland Education Board to establish a technical college in Auckland.
