(From Our Own Correspondent.) WAITUNA, Doe. 7. On Saturday night a concert was held in the Waituna West hall by the pupils of Miss Joan Maunder. The programme was as follows: —Pianoforte solo, Miss Barbara Shannon; character song, “Bubbles,” Boltv Olsen; tap dance, Miss Thorlc Williamson; song. Miss I. Clarke (Palmerston North); recitation, Dawn Olsen; pianoforte solo, Miss Amic Shannon; selections from H. A. Milne, by tho children; pianoforte solo, (Miss Thorlc Williamson; in character, Yli,-s Bonnie Houston and Miss Joyce Berkalm; song, Mr Rowe; musical monologue, Betty Olsen; gavotte, children; song. Miss Clarke; action song, Aliss -Bonnie Houston and Miss Joyce Kerkahti; pianoforte duet, Howard and David Williamson; duct in character, Betty and Dawn Olsen; action song, “Dream .Man,” children. Mr 11. C. Stokes, Tokomaru, was a visitor at Waituna West during the weekend. Miss Minsou, the local postmistress, has returned homo and commenced dutytins morning.
