DISPUTE SETTLED.

Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. An announcement that a settlement had been reached was made by counsel in the Supreme Court case m which P. Graham and Son, Ltd., contractors, of Christchurch, claimed damages from the Ford Motor Company (Now Zealand), Ltd., for alleged wrongful termination of contract. Mr H. J. V. James, for the Ford Company, said he was glad to inform the Court that since the adjournment of the case plaintiff company had approached them with a view to obtaining a settlement, and no difficulty had been found in arriving at one mutually satisfactory. Mr Hay (for plaintiffs) agreed that they Imd obtained a fair and reasonable settlement of the claim and wished to withdraw unreservedly all the statements and imputations that had been made against the Ford Company of New Zealand in connection with the dispute. The settlement had been conducted in an entirely friendly manner.
