For the first time In New Zealand military engineers used tubular steel construction for bridge-building at Trentham Camp yesterday afternoon, where officers and N.C.O.’s of the Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury field companies of the New Zealand Engineers are undergoing a course. On the same ground, a party worked in full anti-gas equipment. This also is an innovation so far as military training in the Dominion is concerned.
