JUVENILE PERFORMANCE.
The juvenile performance of junior library members, under the direction of Mrs K L. Christian, which will bo held in the Opera House next Tuesday night, promises to be a feast of entertainment. Two plays will be presented, “The Fairies of Caldon Low” (produced by Mrs A. Holmes), und “Meddling With Magic” (produced by Mrs L. Bennett). The first is a fanciful presentation by the smaller children, with charming frocking, and the second is a clever farce in two acts by the older children. All the items are in character except those by the choir. Music, elocutionary, and dancing teachers have given their assistance. and talented juveniles will appear. The proceeds of the function will be devoted to the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal Fund.
