MISS J. WETHERED.
EIGHTH SUCCESS IN ONE GOLF TOURNAMENT. Miss Joyce Wethered, the greatest woman golfer of her generation, won the open mixed foursomes tournament at Worplesden for the eighth time on October 16. Her partner in the event, T. Coke, is the seventh partner, with whom Miss Wethered has been successful. This was the last appearance in competitive golf of Miss Wethered as Miss Wethered. On January 6 she is to marry Sir J. Heathcote-Amory.
