FOORD AND PETERSON. LONDON, Nov. 26. The British Boxing Board of Control has refused to recognise the FoordPeterson contest in January as a title fight, declaring that Peterson must first meet and beat Tommy Farr, the Welsh heavyweight champion, before he can attempt to recover the lost championship from Ben Foord. Farr is the board’s official contender for Foord’s titles.
