MERINO SHEEP FOR NEW ZEALAND.
In addition to recently landing a large number of stud and flock rams for South Island breeders, Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., have imported from the Anama Pastoral Co., Sontli Australia, two high-claes stud rams for Mr H. B. Williams, Turihau. Gisborne. These are for use on his Taihape properly, where he is engaged in producing fine wool. It will bo very interesting to note bow theso grand types of their breed stand the conditions in the North Island. They arc the first of this strain to be imported to New Zealand from Australia.
