Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report just average yardings in all sections. In the' store sheep section some particularly good lines of 2 and 4-th. wethers were submittod, values offered for these not being up to last week's level, this fact no doubt being duo to the announcement of freezing _ prices hardly being as good as was anticipated. Several pens of ewe hog- . gets, both in the wool and shorn sold under koen competition at values in advance of recent rates. One line of tiptop woolly ewo hoggcls offered in conjunction with Dalgety and Co.', Ltd., on account of Mrs Beaz'cr, Fcilcling, realised the good price of £2 5s 6d. Shorn ewo hoggets of just medium quality sold as high as 34s 2d. Small 2th. wethers also sold freely at almost up to. late rates. Just odd pens of qwos and 'Jambs sold on a par with recent sales. Fat sheep: A heavy yarding came forward in this section, both shorn and fat ewes being slightly easier, than last week, this fact being due. no doubt to the heavier yarding. Cattle: Jiist a .moderate yarding of store cattle, of mixed quality carrio forward, and for these the demand was noi nearly as keen as has been the case for the past two or three weeks, several lines failing to change hands. Store cows of dairy breeds again sold under keen competition, and wc report an excellent clearance in this department, it being quite evident that a number of this class of cattle arc going into the paddock for fattening purposes. A medium entry of fat cattle came forward, the bulk of the entry being comprised of dairy-bred sorts, aiid hero we report a buoyant sale throughout, with values fully on. a par with last week's rates. In the dairy .seelion just odd springing cows and heifers I came to hand, and. for these'the demand

was keen for anything showing quality and close to profit.
