SUNSHINE CLUB.

VISIT TO AWAPUNI HOME. Members of the Sunshine Club visited the Awapuni Home on Thursday. An excellent concert programme was provided and a community sing' enjoyed, Mrs W. H.'Boon being at the piano. Mrs G. Bigham delighted the gathering with vocal solos, and Mrs Havill was the accompanist© for her daughters, Peggy and Betty, who entertained with song and character items. Pupils of Miss June Scott were seen to advantage in several dance numbers; they were lluth McDowell, Laurel Black, Isabel Anderson, Mavis Gamnaway, Yvonne D.alby, Pat Dale and Lorraine Baldwin. .•,,»'■ 2u Afternoon tea was provided by the matron, Sister D. Wright, who thanked the visitors for the happy time _ they had provided for the inmates of the home.
