EUCHRE COMPETITION. Euchre games which have been in progress since June at the Palmerston North R.S.A. Club for special prizes donated by the committee were brought to a close last evening. The following were the placings: E. Hill I, C. W. Smith 2, E. F. Bee 3, S. Gough 4. Wooden spoon, F. Coleman. A billiards tourney held this week resulted as follows: G. Wheatley 1, J. Rodgers 2, J. G. Crooks 3. The highest scratch score was made by G. Wheatley, who put up a 96.
