(From Our Own Correspondent. FOXTON, Oct. 5. In the semi-finals of the Herrington Golf C,Hub's championship E. Petersen beat R. Robinson and L. O. Bryant beat J. H. Purcell. , , Aire G. Scadden, of Norbiton Road, lias returned home after a lengthy period m the Palmerston North Hospital. Mr W. JRoss, of Poplar, who underwent an operation for appendicitis in the Palmerston North Hospital, is making satisfactory progress.
