An anti-cyclone covers the northern portion of the Dominion, but a fresh westerly depression is advancing across the south Tasman Sea. ■ Forecast: Light to moderate northerly winds, freshening and later rising in places to gale force. Weather: Fine at first, but clouding over to-mor-row. Temperatures milder. Seas, slight to moderate, but later rising.
