(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNXYTHORBK, Oct. 1. The following scores were recorded at tlie last shoot of the Miniature Rifle Club: —E. Bailey, 63—66—129; R. Gore, 65 —62 127; H. Gore, 68—65—133; R. Bark, 68— 66 —134; A. Pederson, 63—68 —131; K. Osborne, 64 —64—128; I. Ranford, 68—66 —134; R. Jones, 68—68—136; A. McAlurray, 65 66—131; C. \V. Turner, 64—68—132. The final social night of the Anglican Ladies’ Guild took place in the hall on Wednesday with a dance and euchre in the library room, there being a good attendance. The duties of AI.C. were carried out by Air J. Baker, and the points prizes for the season were presented to Aliss Brice (ladies) and Air AJorris (men). Airs Alexander Bowoll, mother of Airs Little, is an inmato of the Palmerston North Hospital. The annual meeting of the Tennis Club is to take place soon, when arrangements will be made for the opening of the season.
