MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., presided over a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court in Palmerston North to-day. Alexander Cameron, aged 47, of no fixed abode, was charged that, on October 1, at Palmerston North, with intent to defraud, he obtained from George Luoni £3 18s by presenting a valueless cheque. On the application of Detective-Sergeant Bickerdike accused was remanded to appear on October 9.
