COMMUNITY SING.
i Interest is being taken in the coming of Air Vincent Ryan, the comedian and song leader. The community sing will bo the biggest that has ever been held in Palmerston North, and it seems that although arrangements have boon made for an overflow house, the theatre will bo too small. For this reason patrons are requested to book their seats and so save disappointment. The plans are now open at Messrs Oollinson and Cunninghame’s. Mr Ryan has met with unrivalled enthusiasm wherever he has appeared in New, Zealand, and while the radio has enabled listeners to enjoy hearing him at their homes, those who have seen him in person on the stage say that radio listeners cannot appreciate him to tho full. His magnetic personality flows from the 6tagc to the audience, and lie carries his audience with him. AA’ith a strong supporting east, comprised of Aliss Gwen Gibbs’s pupils, Aliss Jean Scott’s pupils, Miss Doris Aloore, Air L. Smith, Air A. Sundborn and others, a great night’s fun and entertainment, arc assured.
