Mrs R. P. Rowling and her son, Mr F. Rowling, of Motueka, are tho guests of Mrs Rowling’s sister, Mrs G. H. Jensen, of Aokautere. They have been spending a holiday in Wellington. Miss E. B. Young is a Dunedin visitor to Palmerston worth as the guest of her sister, Mrs J. Murray. Miss F. Bundle, of Ashburton, who has been the guest of Mr and Airs E. lion berg, ol r erguson Street, left today lor Otane, wnere she will stay belore returning home.
Mrs S. E. Harper, of Longburn, who has been spending live weeks witii her daughter,, airs Alnstead Bfrch, Whakatane, has returned, anti she lelt for Wellington yesterday on a visit to her motfier, Ail'S Bowater, of Lyall Bay, who has been very ill. Airs J. S. Jenkinson, of Palmerston North, who lias been seriously id in hospital, has recovered sufficiently to return home, her friends will be pleased to learn.
The friends of Air and Mrs H. N. Crawford, of Lombard Street, will regret to hear that Air Crawlord has been admitted to hospital, and will wish him a speedy recovery.
Aiiss Jean B. AicKenzie is joining the staff or the High Commissioner in Loudon, after a term of four years with the New Zealand Government Trade and Tourist Commissioner in Canada. She expects to remain in England indefinitely, and travelled there with All and Airs AY. J. Jordan.
