A RECIPE.
VEAL AND HAM MOULD. Half-pound cooked veal, ‘2oz cooked ham, two hard-boiled eggs, loz gelatine, one pint stock. Cut veal and ham into small squares, dice the eggs. Dissolve gelatine in the stock and pour some into a wet mould. When set, put in some meat and eggs. Repeat until filled. When set turn on a bed of lettuce.
