SIR RICHARD LINTON.

TO REVISIT CITY. ADDRESS TO ROTARIANS. Having learned of the contemplated visit to the Dominion of Sir Richard Linton, a member of a formerly wellknown family of Palmerston North, Mr J. C. Young communicated with Sir Richard, who is at present in Australia, extending to him an invitation to attend a luncheon of the Rotary Club. Mr A’oung has received an intimation that Sir Richard Linton will be pleased to accept tho invitation. Sir Richard Linton, in his letter to Mr Young, states, inter alia: “I greatly appreciate the invitation from your club that I should be your guest at a weekly luncheon, and that I should address vour memliers on that occasion. 1 gladly accept this invitation and look forward with a great deal of pleasure to meeting your members at Palmerston North, the city in which I was born and which I left as a young man forty years ago. “I shall be arriving in your city from AA’ellington on either Sunday, October 11, or Monday, October 12, and I therefore have pleasure in accepting your invitation for the latter date.”

Mr Young informed a. “Standard” representative to-day .that Sir Richard Linton will leave Sydney for Auckland by the Awatea on September 25. He will stay at Auckland for a week and then leave for AVellington where he will stay until October 10 or 11. He will leave Auckland for Australia on October 19.
