HOCKEY TOUR.
AUSTRALIANS FOR AMERICA. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 14. Bo * id for America and Canada, ako the international tournament, the Australian ladies’ liockev team arrived today. There are 14 players and Mrs F. J. Davy is manager and the Misses Fox anil Magerev delegates to the conference at Philadelphia to discuss means of improving hockey in various countries.
The team were welcomed by officials of the Auckland Association and entertained at lunch. This afternoon they are playing an Auckland eleven. They will meet Fiji when returning to Australia on December 14.
