FEILDING STOCK SALE.
RAILWAY DEPARTMENT’S WORK
From the Feilding stock sale on Friday last the railway at Feilding handled no fewer than 30 consignments of sheep and cattle. There were 30 trucks of cattle despatched from Feilding after the sale and 40 trucks of sheep. The consignment book shows that stock left here for various destinations on the Main Trunk line as far north as Ongarue and as far south as Johnsonville, while several trucks of dairy cattle were despatched to Stratford.
