Hearsey, of the first bunch, was never headed and came home an easy winner by 300 yards. S. McVicar came in second, followed by 1. Hanford, C. Hurley and P. Barrer. P. Barrer (Massey College), off scratch, obtained fastest time after a great run. C. McVicar, also off scratch, obtained second fastest and N. Hearsey third fastest time.
