MOTORIST’S OFFENCE.
Per Press Association. STRATFORD, July 15. “This is a case of thoughtlessness and folly” said Mr Woodward, S.M., in fining A. V. Young £5 and cancelling his license for 18 months for being in a state of intoxication whilo in charge of a car. The prosecution arose from a collision wherein a motor-cyclist was injured when defendant was driiing home from golf. • The hearing occupied three days, and 25 witnesses were called.
