HIGH SCHOOL OLD GIRLS.
MONTHLY MEETING HELD. Miss N. Oakley presided over the monthlv meeting of the Palmerston North High School Old Girls' Association, which was hold last evening in the Y.W.C.A. rooms. Three one-act plays were read, and were greatly enjoyed. "In Our Stars," by Dorothy Coats, was produced by Miss M. Thorbui'ii and the cast was as follows:—AndrewHunt (Miss T. Bovis), Judith Hunt (Miss J. Johnson). Anne Bellamy (Miss It. Elliott), Miles Eliot (Miss C. Blackbonrn), Philip Stanniore (Miss I. Penkoth), Emma (Miss M. Thorburn). The second play, "Young Love," by Cyril Roberts, was produced by Miss R. Birnic. Those in the cast were Dick Marriott (Miss P. Edwards), Anne Marriott (Miss J. Barlowe), Veronica Ainslee (Miss E. Sandman), Ronald Edwards (Miss M. Cookslcy). Miss M. Richards produced "The Dear Departed," by Stanley Houghton, and the. cast included:—Mrs Slater (Miss M. Richards), Mrs Jordan (Miss N. Thorburn), Henry Slater (Miss J. Kenning), Ben Jordan (Miss N. Moore), Victoria Slater (Miss N. Oakley.
