RAUMAI GOLF CLUB.
(Freni Our Own Correspondent) RAUAIAI, July 13.
At a recent meeting of' the combined committees of the ■ ladies’ and moil s branches of the Ramnai Golf Gluh, it was decided to conclude the reason with a ball, to be held in the Ramnai Hall at the end of July. A very strong committee has been, set up and they have all arrangements well in hand. The club is now. nearing the end of its second season. From its inception it lias steadily gone ahead, the standard of play having improved to il very gratifying extent and the course improvements are an indication of the great interest taken in tho course by the greens committee and the groenkeeper. Several matches have been played and thoroughly enjoyed, while competition games and medal rounds have been keenly contested. Altogether the season lias been an unqualified success and it is only fitting that the club should conclude its present period of activities with a social evening in. the form of a ball. All members arc looking forward to a \ery enjoyable evening and meeting their friends from neighbouring clubs.
