FORTUNE ON TROLLEY.
BANK’S MOVING DAY. HAMILTON, July 12. Paper currency and securities representing many thousands of pounds were transferred this week to the now premises of the Commercial Bank of Australia in ’Victoria Street. The money and documents were placed in two heavy steel safes, which were hauled to their new homo on a railway trolley. This work w.is done by the clerks of the bank and few passersby knew that a fortune, was being transported in this unceremonious way.
