CITY BAND CONCERT.
Oil Sunday afternoon, the Palmerston North City Band rendered a splendid programme of music from the rotunda in the Square, there being a large attendance. The following items were presented under the eonductorship of Afr Wm. O’Hara: March, “The Cornet”; hymn, “Gracious” selection, “Alartha”; waltz, “The’Druid’s Prayer”; hymn, “GinciAlargaret” ; cornet, polka, “The Nightingale” (soloist, Sergeant J. Cosgrove); overture, “The Golden Cross”; march, “Queen o’ the North.”
