DUNEDIN’S DISSOCIATION

At a special meeting yesterday the Otago branch of the Railway Officers’ Institute passed the following motions unanimously: (1) ‘.‘That this bra.nch dissociates itself from the One Big Union movement” ; (2) “that until such time as the conference approves or otherwise of tlie movement, and definitely decides for or. against the project, this branch refrains from baking action or part in any meeting held for that purpose, and that any action taken by any members be unofficial and unrecognised.” OPPOSED AT FRANKTON. Per Press Association. HAAIILTON. Julv 13. A meeting of tho Frankton branch of the Ehgin-edriyers’, Firemen’s and Cleaners’ Association emphatically opj>osed the proposal that the railwaymen form one big union ■
