OROUA DOWNS

(From Our Own Correspondent.) OROUA DOWNS, July 11.

On Friday evening the Table Tennis Club at the Aianawatu Heads brought three teams to Orouu Downs to compete with the local players. The match resulted in a win in all sections for the Oroua Downs Club. Air 11. A. Gardner, president of the local club, welcomed the visitors and at tho conclusion of the games supper was served, the hall being cleared lor dancing afterwards. Ah- AicPherson thanked the Oroua Downs club for a most enjoyable evening. All- H. A. Gardner replied on behalf of the Oroua Down,, players. Before dancing was commenced Air E. Short obliged tlie gathering with a step dunce. The music for the dancing was played by .Messrs N. Berntsen and Alcl’hersoii.
