MAN FOUND DEAD.
DISCOVERY AT ESPLANADE. The discovery was made at 7.30 a.m., to-day. by Mr J. R- Smith, a City Council employee, of the body of a man on the grass by the footpath near the tea kiosk at the Esplanade. There was a razor alongside the body. and there were seven wounds in the throat. The victim was identified as Air W illiam Adahis. a widower, aged 71, a retired builder, of Palmerston North. Air Adams is stated to have lett the hotel where he was residing yesforday morning, and did not return during the day or last night. ,
