PRINCESS ELIZABETH. ATTENTION TO EDUCATION. PRIVATE TUITION. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 13, 9-35 a.m. LONDON, July 12. Princess Elizabeth will be .educated with a view to her possibly becoming Queen, says the Sunday Chronicle.
The Duchess of York wished Princess Elizabeth to go to a girls’ school to enjoy the companionship of girls of her own age, but alter a discussion by the Ring, gucen Mary, the Duke of York, and members oi Cabinet it has been decided to substitute a more formal plan of education so, like Queen Victoria, her education will bo encrusted to tutors and a governess.
