Friday’s closing prices for raw materials were as follow, those for July 3 being shown in parentheses Cotton. —Liverpool quotation good American middling, spot, 7.13 d a > (6.65 d); August delivery, 7.08 d alb (6 Rubber.—Para, 9Jd a lb (9Jd); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 7|d a lb (some). . . _ ~ Copra. —July-August shipment, South Sea to London or Rotterdam, £l2 15s a ton (£l2 10s); smoked, to Marseilles or Genoa, £l2 10s a ton (£l2 ss): plantation Rabaul, to London or Rotterdam, £l3 15s a ton (£l3 10s). Linseed oil. —£23 a ton (£2B 10s). Turpentine: 39s 9d a ewt (38s 6d).
