A meeting of the Pahintua R.S.A. executive committee was held on Thursday even'ng, Mr M. Moriarty presiding. Mr Macltae was welcomed back by the chairman after 1 1 is recent il ness. The Danncvirke and District R.S.A. wrote stating lliat its association boundaries woidd include all lliat area within the counties of D'annovirke, Weber and Akitio. The secretary was instructed to write the Dannevirko association agreeing to sucli boundaries. The Hutt, Valley association stated they proposed holding a golf competition and invited members to make themselves conversant with the conditions The Pnliiahia (.'omty Council had donated 7003 trees for the completion of the association’s tree planting scheme at Walton Park, and this action was much appreciated. It was decided to write the I’ahialua War Relief Association stating that tho R.S.A. desired to acquire the freehold of 73 niton Park and vest il in the names of trustees, and for this purpose a sum not exceeding £SO would be required. It was resolved tlia' Mr ID. Gregorio be employed lo supply and plant 1500 of new repltu/ment trees at Walton Park. It was dMuled that the association hold a social evening md a committee was elected for the. purpose.

Mrs J. G. Green, who has been secretary of the St. Peter’s Ladies’ Guild for some time, was farewclled at a meeting of tho guild recently. The president (Mrs J. D.
