BIRTHDAYS HONOURED.
On Saturday a most enioyahle evening was spent at the residence of Mr and Mrs J. A. .Singleton. of E'erguson Street, to . celebrate the joint birtlidays of Miss Pat Crowther and Mr J. A. Singleton. Supper was served in the dining-room and games, competitions, and dancing were indulged in, tire proceedings being brought to a close bv the singing ot “Aulfi Lang Syne.” Those presei.it were Mr and Mrs -T. A. Singleton, Mr and Mrs P. E. Crowther, Miss Pat Crowther, Miss Joan B iggs, Miss B. Cameron (Wellington), Miss Dorothy Mitchell. Miss Kathleen Mitchell. Mr .1. Mitelmll. Mr T. Coo lman. Mr 1C Nuttall. Mr L. Cameron (Wellington), and Mr E. Siddells.
