AIRSHIP BUILDING.
OBSERVATIONS BY BRITAIN. LONDON, July 1. Sir Philip Sassoon (Under-Secretary for Air), speaking in the House of Commons during a debate on the Air Navigation Bill, said that ever since the RlOl disaster the Government had been closely watching the possibilities of this type of aircraft. “The Government aro still considering the question of airships and as soon as wo think that they have proved themselves useful and essential instruments we will certainly embark upon building them again.”
