M. CHIAPPE PENALISED. Received July 3, 10.45 a.m. PARIS, July 2. _ The Chamber of Deputies, by. 285 votes to 193, annualled the election of the former Police Chief, M. Chiappe, for Corsica M. Chiappe, while Communists ostentatiously read newspapers affecting to disregard the debate, causing the Right Wingers to walk out, declared ' that there would not have been any Communist Deputies if he had still been Chief of Police. Also, there would not have been any red flags flying in Paris or the occupation of factories. He added that the Communists were being controlled by the Communist Internationale.
