WAR BOMBS FOUND.
UNDER TURKISH PONTOON. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 2. The discovery of a Mills bomb and a German egg bomb was made by a hoy, yesterday, under a Turkish pontoon, a war trophy which stands in a reserve near tlic Early Settlers’ Rooms. These wee promptly delivered to the police. The Mills bomb is definitely harmless with the lever release removed. and the egg bomb appears to tie likewise harmless. How thev got Ihere is mysterious. Both will be dumped in the harbour.
