SURPLUS AND DEFICIT. Received Julv 2, 11.5 a.m. BRISBANE, July 2. Queensland ended the financial year with a deficit ol £741,815. The revenue was £15.488,990 and the expenditure £16,230,805. Perth reports that Western Australia’s revenue for the year amounted to £10,033,721 and the expenditure to £9,945,343, leaving a surplus of £88,378, as compared with a defiicit of £167,095 for the previous year.
