Perry and Cramm will meet in tho final of tho men’s singles at Wimbledon on Friday. Any other final would he unjust, for they are clearly the best players of the tournament. Herr Kleinschroth, the German nonplaying captain, explains that he advised Crannn’s retirement from the doubles not only because of the singles filial on Friday hut because he could not contest the doubles finally owing to the Germans leaving for Zagreb on Saturday in readiness for the European zone final of the Davis Cup series against Jugoslavia. MIXED DOUBLES. Fourth Round.
